Pendruccombe House has always worked hard to provide person-centred care, with the resident’s quality of life our number one aim. Everything we do is geared towards helping them to get the most out of their stay at Pendruccombe House and to have a good quality of life. This ethos is built in to every aspect of Pendruccombe House, especially the recruitment of staff.

Alongside relevant skills and qualifications, we are looking for, above all, compassion and people skills, allied to a desire to make a difference to someone’s quality of life. Moving forward from recruitment, ongoing staff development is all about improving that ability to help people within our homes. We actively seek out the right training and development to empower our staff to work together in Pendruccombe House to support people within our care.

Mrs Sally Glendinning

Administration Manager

Sally Glendinning has worked at Pendruccombe House since 1989 in an administrative capacity, undertaking payroll and administration qualifications. As Administration Manager she is responsible for the payroll and accounts for the home.

Sally continues to be responsible for all aspects of administration, implementing legislation changes as required, most recently being Real Time information.

Mrs Judith Townsend

Deputy Manager Residential Home

Mrs Judith Townsend is the Deputy manager for the Residential Home, she has been employed at Pendruccombe House for 12 years, she held the position of senior care assistant for 2 years before her promotion to deputy manager. She has NVQ level 2 and 3 she has completed her NVQ 4 Leadership and Management Award. She has undertaken and completed all relevant training for her position.
